New video of 1986 Space Shuttle Challenger explosion unearthed

On the morning of January 28, 1986 the Space Shuttle Challenger was ripped apart 73 seconds into its final flight, claiming the lives of its seven member crew. New amateur video has been unearthed that shows the tragedy from a nearby neighborhood as residents watch the event.

Corydon optometrist Jack Moss fixed his brand new camera towards the launch route in hopes to capture the space shuttle’s voyage to outer space. Then something goes wrong. Moss noted in the video that the propulsion flares trailing the shuttle seem to be brighter than usual. A women off camera agrees with him. Then the shuttle breaks apart and he questions, "Is that trouble?"

The 5 minute video was posted on Live Leak nearly a quarter of a century after it was taken.
