Aircraft crash at Elmendorf Air Force base in Alaska

ANCHORAGE (BNO NEWS) — A military aircraft crashed at Elmendorf Air Force base in Alaska on Wednesday evening, officials said.

The aircraft went down at the end of the runway, and large plumes of black smoke was seen rising from the scene.

Initial reports indicate it was a large aircraft, but the type and the number of people on board was not immediately clear.
