At least two killed after medical helicopter crash in Kingfisher County, Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY (BNO NEWS) — At least two people were killed on Thursday night after a medical helicopter crashed in Kingfisher County, Oklahoma, officials said.

The Eagle Med helicopter, a Eurocopter AS350, crashed at about 7:45 p.m. local time, said Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Lynn Lunsford. He said the helicopter was on its way from Integris Medical Center in Oklahoma City to pick up a patient.

“Another helicopter was dispatched to pick up somebody involved in the crash,” Lunsford added.

Further details were not immediately available.
