Dubuque, IA man sentenced for downloading child pornography

SIOUX CITY, IOWA (BNO NEWS) – A man of Dubuque, Iowa was sentenced to 97 months (over eight years) in prison and ten years of supervised release for receiving child pornography, prosecutors informed on Friday.

Thomas Woods, 56, admitted to have downloaded images and videos of child pornography from the internet on August 10, 2009.

Woods was released on a bond and will surrender to the Bureau of Prison on a later date.
