Four injured after shooting in northern Washington, D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (BNO NEWS) -- Four people were injured after a shooting in the northern part of the U.S. capital on late Friday, officials said.

The shooting happened just after 11 p.m. EDT at Georgia Avenue and Missouri Avenue Northwest in Washington, D.C., a spokesperson for DC Fire and EMS said.

The spokesperson said four people, two males and two females, were injured. "One victim walked into [a] fire station for assistance," the spokesperson said.

The D.C. Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the shootings.
