Missouri authorities issue Amber Alert for girl abducted while playing outside

LOUISIANA, MISSOURI (BNO NEWS) -- Authorities in Missouri have issued a statewide Amber Alert after a young girl was abducted from her yard, police said.

Four-year-old Alisa Maier was abducted at approximately 12 a.m. CT while she was playing in her yard with her brother when a black 4-door passenger car pulled up and the suspect took the child.

The suspect is described as a white male, believed to be in his teens or early twenties, and has dark hair and a dark skin. He is driving a black color 4-door passenger car.

Maier is described as about 4 feet tall and weighs around 40 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue jean shorts.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 immediately.
