AUSTIN, TEXAS (BNO NEWS) – A former MMA fighter and his girlfriend were found dead on late Sunday in an apparent murder-suicide in Austin, Texas, local media reported on Monday.

According to KVUE News, officers found the bodies of Kenneth Bryan Trevino, 26, along with Tiffanie Suzanne Perry, 23. Both bodies presented signs of trauma but law agents did not disclose how they died.

“A concerned relative called saying that there was somebody that they felt was possibly suicidal in an apartment inside the apartment complex,” said Cpl. Scott Perry of the Austin Police Department.

Trevino, a MMA fighter, was reportedly upset after his recent breakup with Perry, a model and competitive body builder.

The bodies were found at Trevino’s apartment at the Alexan Ribelin Ranch Apartment Complex. Officers are currently interviewing the neighbors in the complex.

“We are still trying to talk to as many witnesses as possible so that we can determine exactly what the circumstances are surrounding their deaths,” Perry added.
