REDMOND, WASHINGTON (BNO NEWS) — Most of the Windows Live Messenger Services and its websites, owned by Microsoft, went down on Tuesday afternoon.
Many users worldwide reported receiving a “service unavailable” error and were unable to access the Messenger related websites.
It was not immediately clear how many users were affected, and how long the outage may last.
Windows Live Messenger is an instant messaging system developed by Microsoft in 1999. It is best known as MSN, its former official name.
