WASHINGTON D.C. (BNO NEWS) – U.S. Secretary of State Hilary Clinton will travel to Ottawa and Gatineau, Canada, for the G8 Foreign Ministers meeting in March 29-30, Assistant Secretary of State for Public Affairs Philip Crowley announced on Thursday.

The G8 Foreign Ministers meeting is considered a preparation for the G8 Leaders Summit that will take place in Canada in June 25-26.

Before the Ministerial, Secretary Clinton will attend a meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the five Artic Coastal States.

Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar will join Secretary Clinton to the Arctic Coastal States meeting.
