Report: Plane carrying Polish president Lech Kaczynski crashes near Russian airport

MOSCOW (BNO NEWS) — A plane carrying Polish president Lech Kaczynski crashed on approach to Smolensk Airport in Russia’s Smolensk Oblast, according to media reports on Saturday.

Sky News reported there was no immediate word on casualties or survivors from the crash. It was also not clear how many people were on board.
