CRESTVIEW, FLORIDA (BNO NEWS) — A 24-year-old northwest Florida man was arrested for forcing his way into a house where his wife was staying, and told her he was there “to get some,” according to a news report on Monday.

The Northwest Florida Daily News reported that the man – who was not identified by the paper – was intoxicated when the incident happened. It said the couple had been separated for four days.

The man removed an air conditioning unit and climbed through the window to get inside the house. His wife, who was afraid of him due to his state of intoxication, dialed 911.

When police arrived, the defendant walked away from them and refused to provide identification, the Northwest Florida Daily News reported. He was put in handcuffs.

After being cuffed, he told the officer that he “has not gotten any in three weeks and he was going to get some.”

He was transported to a jail and is scheduled to appear in court on May 4.
