Amber Alert issued for two infants abducted in northwest California
UKIAH, CALIFORNIA (BNO NEWS) — Authorities on Saturday issued an Amber Alert for two infants who were abducted by an unknown suspect in northwest California.
The children, ages six months and one, were abducted at around 3.37 p.m. local time in Ukiah, a city in Mendocino County. Details on the abduction were not immediately released by the California Highway Patrol.
Oscar Oliveros, a 1-year-old Hispanic male, was described as having black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a red Michael Jordan t-shirt with red shorts. The second victim is Elizer Garcia Oliveros, a 6-month-old Hispanic male, who is described as having brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white diaper only. Elizer has a large brown birthmark on his right knee and back.
Information about the suspect was not immediately available, but was last seen driving a black Chevrolet Silverado with a California license plate of 8U63092 or 6X24666. The vehicle is a stolen four-wheel drive, four-door pick-up truck which is lifted approximately 6 feet.
