North Carolina woman reads "N-word, Don’t Tip" on pizza delivery receipt

RALEIGH, NORTH CAROLINA (BNO NEWS) — A North Carolina woman says she found racist comments printed on a pizza delivery receipt and now claims to be receiving harassing phone calls, local media reported on Wednesday.

Carla Robinson, from Apex, ordered a pizza from Domino’s last Friday and when her 10-year-old niece checked the receipt, she found the “N” word written on it, followed by “Don’t Tip.” Robinson said she has been receiving over a dozen calls since reporting the incident.

“They were saying basically the same stuff that was on the receipt. They were saying ‘N-this, you got me fired, you did this, you did that,’ just being real ugly to me, just being real mean,” Robinson told WRAL-TV. “I’m thinking it is 2010, it’s never good to do that. You can’t do stuff like that anymore.”

The owner of the nearby Domino’s Pizza where the Robinson ordered from formally apologized for the incident. “I’m horrified this occurred. This was the action of a lone individual and it does not reflect my views,” Pat O’Leary said. “Upon learning of the incident, the general manager of the store fired the responsible person immediately. I have reached out to the customer and offered my sincere apology.”

Local authorities are currently investigating the case as the motives behind the incident remain uncertain.

Thing is, black people use that term as much if not more than white people and I wouldn’t be surprised if it weren’t a black employee that did it. Would be very curious to know.

Yea, and most black people hate hearing that word from black people as well. The general response is “I ain’t ya N****”, regardless of the skin tone of the offender. I remember when the NAACP tried to officially retire the word from common use, and the black communities version of r*dn***s laughed it off. Anyone who uses those terms, even as a term of “endearment” can burn and or rot in the place of their choosing, regardless of color.

its true though, they dont tip.
im pretty sure that was the motive.

It was a white good old boy that did it. When black people use it, it is spelleed and pronounced differently, and most often used as a positive term. They would not use the real n word in this context. 2nd stupid incident at NC Domino’s in the past year, and the first one was also white trash.
