MOSCOW (BNO NEWS) — Polish President Lech Kaczynski and his wife were killed when the presidential plane crashed near an airport in western Russia.
A total of 87 people were on board the Tupolev 154 aircraft. There were no survivors.

MOSCOW (BNO NEWS) — A plane carrying Polish president Lech Kaczynski crashed on approach to Smolensk Airport in Russia’s Smolensk Oblast, according to media reports on Saturday.
Sky News reported there was no immediate word on casualties or survivors from the crash. It was also not clear how many people were on board.
